Is my Tram ticket included in the cost of my dinner?
The Tram Ticket is not included in the cost of your dinner. Be sure to purchase your tram ticket online at www.sandiapeak.com the day before you plan to come. Tickets are limited.
Can you drive up to Ten 3?
The Tram is the most scenic way up! If you would you rather hike to TEN 3 and enjoy a refreshment after hiking… you can drive up using NM Highway 536, park at the Forest Service parking area near Ellis Trailhead & enjoy a 1 . 5 mile hike to TEN 3.
Are there two restaurants in Ten 3?
There is only one restaurant but we offer two indoor dining experiences. TEN 3 has a Fine Dining option that is by reservations only, 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm Thursday thru Monday. Then we have our lounge/ bar area available at first come, first serve, 11:00 am till 8:00 pm. We are also excited to announce that native New Mexican and award winning chef, J Martin Torrez has joined our team as Executive Chef and we cant wait for you to try his specials. Seating will be limited to The State mandated 75% capacity indoors and 75% capacity for our Cliff Side To Go. Face coverings will be required while in the TEN 3 common areas.
IS there a dress code for fine dining?
- We have a Smart casual dress code in our dining room that we follow, smart casual is:
- Well fitting, neat and appropriate pieces that are slightly less formal than a business casual, hiking attire is not accepted in the Dining Room
- Ladies: No baseball caps, No torn or ripped jeans, No flip flops (open toed ok)
- Gentlemen: No baseball caps, No Cutoff Sleeves, Torn or ripped jeans, No flip flops
- If in doubt it is better to be overdressed than underdressed. We encourage everyone to dress as fancy as you’d like!

When should we arrive at the base of the tram for our dinner reservations?
Please arrive at the base of the Tram 30-45 minutes before your reservation time. If you have reservations on a weekend, allow 45 minutes.
Are you open during major holidays?
Yes, we sure are! Be sure to check our website or call our host at 505-764-8363 for any specific holiday hours before you come.
Are you closed when the tram is closed?
Because the tram is the primary way to TEN 3, we do follow the tram closing dates. This includes: maintenance shutdown in the spring and fall, maintenance Tuesdays and weather closures. These closure updates will be listed on our website and the tram website at sandiapeak.com.
